All About 7/18 A Meet at Long Branch

ARRIVE BY 8:10 FOR 8:25 WARMUPS!

On Saturday we have our last A meet of the season at Long Branch. If you attended Relay Carnival last week, you will recognize this as the same pool. Long Branch is undefeated this season, just like us. This will be our toughest meet of the season - we need all Vikings ready to swim their hearts out!

Please read this email closely for important information if your child is swimming on Saturday.

Jobs Still Needed:

• Awards Clerk: If you don’t finish by the end of the meet, I’ll take the rest home!
• 1 more Clerk Assistant: Help Sherry wrangle these kids!
• 1 RTO: Have a kid swimming a relay and want a really short job just at the end of the meet? Have I got the spot for you! Otherwise I need one more Timer to step up for 2nd shift!

Arrival and Departure

All visiting team swimmers, spectators, volunteers, team reps, coaches, and officials shall enter and depart the pool area through the large gate facing the pool.

Visiting Team Area

The visiting team area will be in the grassy area to the left when you enter the gate. Your team area will be on the patio under the tent. Please bring chairs and/or blankets for seating as there are no chairs there. Don’t forget sunscreen & bug spray.

Concessions

We have full concessions at our meets, including breakfast burritos and other food and drinks. Our concessions are cash and credit with a $1 service charge.

• 7:55am Officials on deck; Marshal brief
• 8:00 am Dolphin Marshals on deck for Dolphin warm-Up (20 min)
• 8:05 am Officials Brief (Referee, S&T)
• 8:20 am Dolphin warm-up concludes
• 8:25 am Village West marshals on deck for VW warm-up (20 min)
• 8:30 am Timers Brief (Starter, Chief Timer & Timers)
• 8:45 am Village West Warm-up concludes
• 8:50 am Time check (Timers and Starter)
• 8:55am All officials in place; swimmers gather at clerk of course; announcements; National Anthem
• 9:00am Meet Starts
• Individual Events conclude
• Relay Take Off Brief with S&T (Baby Pool area)
• Relay warm-ups (10 min)
• Relays (Events 41-50)
• Quick Break
• Mixed Age Relays (Events 51-52)
