Hi guys! I'm Kaylee Williams and I am so excited to be back with the Vikings as a Co-Head Coach this year! I just finished my Freshman year at Christopher Newport University where I am studying psychology. It is my goal to use my degree as an elementary school teacher. I have been swimming my whole life and competed at various levels, including for the Fairfax Foxes, West Springfield High School, and now at CNU. I specialize in Butterfly and IM! I have been a part of the Viking community for 6 years as a swimmer and 4 years as a coach. I have made so many amazing memories with this team and met so many great people along the way!

Hi! I'm Emily Baucom! I am Co-Head Coach of the Vikings this summer! I currently attend James Madison University and am a rising Sophomore. I swam for the Vikings for 14 years before graduating and am now so stoked to return as a Coach! This team is like a family to me and I enjoy spending my days with all the kids. I especially enjoy seeing their love for the team that gave me so many lifelong friends! During my time on the team, I always loved the community around me and I am so excited to be a part of now creating that community for others.
I can't wait to see all the returning swimmers this summer and to get to know all the new ones too! Go Vikings!
Hey y’all! I’m Owen Voorhees, and I’m the assistant coach of the Vikings this summer!
I’m graduating from West Springfield High School this June and am going to attend James Madison University in the fall to study physics. This will be my 11th year as a member of the Vikings swim team, and my fourth year working as a coach for the team, and I’m super excited to take on a bigger coaching role this year. In addition to this team, I’ve swam for six years on the Fairfax Foxes club team, and the West Springfield High School team, where I made it to the regionals championship meet three years in a row.
This team, and swimming as a whole, has been a huge part of my life, and I can’t wait to help other people find that same joy in the sport that I have.
Hi all! I’m Jack Meli! This summer I’m thrilled to be returning as Head Coach for Little Vikings! I’ll be graduating from West Springfield High School in June and plan to attend Temple University in the fall to study elementary education. This is my 14th (and final) year swimming with the team, and it’s truly been amazing to grow up with such a wonderful community around me. Between coaching, lifeguarding, and volunteering, I spend a lot of time at the pool, so if you have any questions or just want to say hi, feel free to reach out!
