All About Relay Carnival - ARRIVE BY 510 FOR 525 WARMUPS!

All About Relay Carnival 2026 - Wednesday 7/8 at Long Branch

Congratulations to all of our swimmers who were selected to swim tomorrow night at Relay Carnival. Relay Carnival is a fun meet for the swimmers with lots of team pride and cheering. Please read this email for a lot of important information.

Because Relay Carnival is an official, scored meet, the NVSL really wants us to get this meet completed tomorrow night. That means huddling in your car in the event of thunder. Please plan to have snacks, water, battery packs, etc, and a full tank of gas tomorrow night just in case!

Location: Long Branch Swim and Racquet Club is located at 9100 Burnetta Dr in Annandale. Swimmers can be dropped off in the Burnetta Dr cul-de-sac while you find parking in the neighborhood. The parking lot will be closed for team areas. Our team area will be the first #1 section on the map below, so it should be easy for swimmers walking in to find us.

Jobs: Please take a look at the detailed schedule attachment if you have agreed to fill one of these positions tomorrow night. There will be a check-in table where you will get a lanyard with your name. There is a tight schedule with a lot of briefs, so please endeavor to be where you are supposed to be at the right time!

What to bring: CAMP CHAIRS, goggles, towel, water, cash for concessions, bug spray, sunscreen.

What to wear: Swimmers should wear their team suit and team cap. If you don’t have a team suit, make sure it’s not a tie-back suit for girls. All deck officials should wear a white shirt and navy blue bottoms.

Concessions: The Dolphin Deli will have full concessions including various grilled items, nachos (with or without meat), pizza by the slice and other food and drinks. Their concessions are cash and credit with a $1 service charge.

If any sibling swimmers are attending the meet... please toss their swimsuit and goggles in your bag. You never know when someone is going to get sick and we need a replacement!
