Dear Vikings Family,

Despite the snow still on the ground, preparations are well underway for the 2026 summer season. The Vikings are thrilled to announce that we have hired our Head Coach for the season: Jack Meli! Jack has grown up with the Vikings and with many years of successful coaching experience under his belt, he is now ready to lead the team through another great summer. Here is a note from Jack:

Hello everyone :) My name is Jack Meli, and I am excited to be the 2026 Head Coach for the Vikings! I have been with the team as a swimmer since 2010, and this will be my 6th year returning as a coach. You may remember me from running our Little Vikings program for the last few years, or from working as the Assistant Coach last summer. I am now 20 years old, and am a sophomore at Temple University where I study Elementary Education. I am super excited to see everyone this summer, and am looking forward to a great season! For swimmers ages 15+ who are interested in serving as an Assistant Coach or Junior Coach this season, please fill out this short Assistant & Junior Coach Interest Form. After submission, you will be contacted via email to set up a specific time for a short Zoom interview with Brandi and Jack.
