Annandale Pool: 7530 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003
Families should plan to arrive 20 minutes before their swimmer’s warm-up time. Annandale has a large gravel parking lot and an off site spillover parking lot that will require a short walk. If the gravel parking lot is full, parents can drop off their swimmer and go to the off site lot.

8:10 Freestyle warm-ups – Vikings swim in Lane 1 (Teams use assigned lanes with coach supervision and feet first entry)

8:20 Table workers briefing with Head of Tables at Tables/Awards
8:20 Clear the pool and call first and second events to Clerk of Course (Events 41 & 42)

Team Area: We will be in Team Area #1 and have Lane #1 for all warm-ups. Bring camping chairs, sunscreen, and bug spray. We will provide canopies and it is also a shady area. If possible, please write your child’s name on the bottom of their shoes in Sharpie or have Jibbitz in their Crocs. My own child has lost two pairs of Crocs at large meets when another kiddo walked off in his shoes after an event.
Spectator Area: There is plenty of raised spectator seating on the hills around the pool. It will be in the sun, so plan to bring an umbrella, hat, etc. I would also recommend bring your own camping chair if you have swimmers spread out over the course of the day and will be there for the duration.
Concessions: There will be breakfast options, hot dogs, hamburgers, and noodle bowls with chicken that are supposed to be amazing.
T-shirt vendor: A vendor will be set up for the entire meet and T-shirts will be available for purchase. Shirts are customizable and a big hit with all swimmers. If you are planning on getting a shirt for your swimmer, go early and beat the long lines later!
